Kitchen floor redo, done in a weekend

Updated my kitchen floor with these peel-and-stick planks. No contractor, no glue. Peel the backing and press down. Cut with a utility knife to fit around cabinets. Water beads up and wipes clean. Huge upgrade for the price.

Thanks! Weekend kitchen refresh is the best use. Enjoy the new floor.

Sticks right over old tile

Instead of ripping up old dated tile, I laid these planks right over it. As long as the old floor is clean and flat, they bond well. Saves a ton of demolition. The room looks brand new.

Exactly, lay right over a clean flat surface. Glad it saved the demo.

Waterproof, spills wipe up

Kitchen spills no longer scare me. Water and coffee bead on the surface and wipe right off. The waterproof backing means no swelling at the edges. Easy to keep clean with a sweep and mop.

Glad spills wipe right up. That waterproof surface is built for it.

RV floor makeover

Freshened up our RV with these planks. Lightweight, cuts easily, and sticks well to the old floor. Holds up to moving around and cleaning. Much more cheerful inside. A great RV upgrade.

Love the RV upgrade. Glad it holds up on the road.

Prep the floor first

Planks are good, but the job lives or dies by prep. Sweep, wipe, and make sure the subfloor is flat and clean before peeling. On a dusty or bumpy surface, adhesion suffers. Take the prep seriously.

Excellent advice, clean and flat first. That is what makes adhesion last.

48 planks = 72 sq ft, measure up

Nice planks, but one box is 48 planks covering 72 square feet. I under-measured and needed a second box. Once I had enough, install was fast. Measure the room and order a little extra for cuts.

Fair note, 48 planks = 72 sq ft. Over-ordering saves a trip. Sorry for the second box.

No contractor needed

I have never laid flooring. Watched a short video and these peel-and-stick planks were forgiving. Straight rows, cut around corners. Felt like I saved thousands on labor. Highly recommend for a DIYer.

Love that a first-timer did it. That is the DIY promise.

One plank damaged in the box

Most planks were perfect, but one had a crease from shipping. I used it in a closet under furniture where it does not show. The rest installed great. Three stars only for the damaged piece.

We are sorry about the creased plank. Please reach out through your order and we will send a replacement.

Basement floor glow up

Finished a basement room with these planks. They stick well to the concrete once it was clean, and the waterproof finish handles the basement humidity. No cold underfoot like tile. Cozier now.

That basement glow up is real. Glad it handles the humidity.

Renter friendly, lifts off clean

I am renting and these were perfect. They stick solid to the old tile, and when I move I can peel them without ruining the subfloor. No holes, no glue mess. Landlord would never know. A renter dream.

Thanks! Renter-friendly and removable is the whole point. Good luck on the next move.

Score, snap, peel

Cutting these is easy: score with a utility knife along a straight edge, bend, and peel. No saw, no dust. I did the whole kitchen alone. The strong backing keeps them down. Beginner friendly.

Love that score-and-snap. No saw makes it so much easier.

Bathroom floor update

Redid a small bathroom. These planks are waterproof so no worry around the tub. Peel-and-stick went over the old vinyl. Thin enough to not affect the door swing. Looks way better than the old floor.

Glad the bathroom looks better. Waterproof around the tub is key.

Holds up to the dogs

Two dogs run through the kitchen and these planks have not scratched. Scuff marks wipe off. Waterproof around their water bowl. Pet-friendly and easy to maintain. Impressed.

Glad it holds up to the dogs. Scratch-resistant is built for pets.

Peels off without damage

Tested a plank in a corner and it peeled off cleanly, no goo, no lift of the old tile. That means I can remove it later without a mess. Great peace of mind for a rental or a future change.

Good to hear it peels clean. That is the renter-friendly guarantee.

Laundry room no longer scary

Our laundry room had sad old flooring. Put these planks over it and it looks tidy. Water from the washer wipes right off. Sticks to the old concrete fine. Easy weekend project.

Glad the laundry room looks tidy. Enjoy the upgrade.

2mm is thin, felt it under foot

Looks and installs great, just know these are 2mm thin. On an uneven subfloor you feel every bump underfoot. On a flat, smooth surface it is fine. Manage expectations on texture.

Fair note, 2mm works best over a flat smooth surface. Glad it looked great on yours.

Staggered layout looks like real flooring

Laid them in a staggered pattern (not lined up) and it looks like real hardwood, not planks on a grid. The seams blend. Took a little planning, but the result looks pro. Worth the layout effort.

That staggered layout is the secret to the real-hardwood look.

Kid safe and easy to wipe

Toddler room gets messy. These planks wipe clean in seconds, no grout lines to trap crumbs. Non-slip underfoot. Easy to install around the crib. Peace of mind with kids.

Glad it wipes clean and is kid-safe. That is what busy rooms need.

Holds up to dining chairs

A year in, dining chairs slide over these planks without scratching. No curled edges. The surface takes daily abuse and still looks good. Easy to spot-clean under the table.

Great to hear after a year. That durability is built for daily use.

Utility knife is all you need

Was shocked how easy it is to cut these. Score with a sharp utility knife and snap. No special tools, no sawdust. I did a whole room in one evening. The backing sticks firm once pressed.

Love that a utility knife is all you need. Fast and clean.

Entryway high traffic

Our entryway takes a beating. These planks have held up to boots and backpacks, no scratches, no lifted edges. Wipe off rain and mud. Much better than the carpet that was there.

Glad it survived the entryway. That high-traffic test says it all.

Let them acclimate

Tip: leave the planks in the room a couple days before laying so they settle to the temperature. I skipped this on the first few and saw small gaps later. Acclimate and press firmly and it lays flat.

Great tip on acclimating. That prevents the gaps later.

Bought extra for the next room

Did the kitchen first, loved it, and ordered more for the dining room. I kept a few extra pieces from the first box for repairs. Consistent look between boxes. Plan ahead and buy a bit extra.

Glad you loved it enough to do the next room. Keep those spares.

One box short of my estimate

Good planks, but my square-foot estimate ran a little short and I had to wait on a second box to finish the last row. Measure generously. Once complete, the floor looks great. My fault for tight planning.

Fair note, measure generously. Glad the finished floor looks great.
